Origin
It Started With a Pattern Cord Couldn't Unsee.
Before there was a search firm, there was a conviction. FireSeeds founder Cord Sachs had watched the same thing happen three different times, in three different worlds. A college campus. A fast-growing company. And the businesses he admired most.
Every time, the story was the same. One leader developed a few people. Those people developed a few more. And before long there wasn't a single standout. There was a movement of leaders who all believed their job was to grow the people around them.
He started calling it a multiplying movement of multiplying leaders. And once he saw it, he couldn't stop seeing it.
So when Cord set out to start FireSeeds, the business model was new but the conviction was old. He'd spent years investing in people and watching it compound. The only question left was whether you could build a company around finding the rare leaders who lead that way, and placing them inside companies built to put them to work.
That company became FireSeeds. Not a resume shop. A retained search firm that finds multiplying leaders for purpose-driven companies.

Culture is the multiplier. A leader who fits your culture compounds everything good about your company. A leader who doesn't will cost you far more than an open seat, in money, in momentum, and in people.
Character and capability, never one without the other. A resume tells you what someone has done. It doesn't tell you who they are under pressure, at home, or when no one is watching. We evaluate both, because a placement built on capability alone doesn't last. You shouldn't have to choose between the most talented leader in your industry and the one who actually fits. We make finding both the standard.
Relationships over transactions. We always start with story. We'd rather walk away from a search than win one we can't deliver, and we'd rather tell you a hard truth in week one than a comfortable one for six months. Do the work well, and clients call back. That's why nearly half our business is repeat.
Purpose matters. We partner with purpose-driven companies, the ones built for significance and not just the bottom line. When a leader joins a company like that, the impact reaches past the org chart. From the boardroom to the family room.
